I use to comment and post these such as Yelp and Travel...etc. However, I decided to create a blog instead.
I'm not going back and tell you all my prior places that I had dine but go forward I am sure to share my reviews here.
Today, I visited a place that I had passed by a number of times but never went in because I wasn't sure if it was worth the visit. I read up on the reviews and decided to venture in. Well, verdict was somewhat disappointed. I had high hopes for this place considering there are much better places around this area.
It's a Caribbean restaurant, located on 1732 Lawrence Ave E, Toronto called Curry Roti.
It was on restaurant make-over and the restaurant had supposedly re-did their menu.
I had ordered:
Full size Curry shrimp. - Portion was small, few shrimp but curry was flavour nicely.
Chana & Roti - Roti was bit dry but chana was nice. Portion was very small (palm size).
Oxtail& rice - This was suppose to be full size but it was small and not flavourful. Overly greasy on the rice & peas.
Dal soup - Nice mild taste.
Total came to $45 approx.
Overall Rating (*):
Restaurant atmosphere = 4
Service = 4
Food =2
